Andrew Luomala is Michigan State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Digital Storytelling. This website was created to highlight a range of creative projects focused on video editing, camera work, and sound design. It serves as a professional showcase of technical abilities, creative vision, and commitment to high quality media production.

Video Editing & Post-Production

I have a strong background using industry-standard tools such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. I approach each project with a focus on detail, pacing, and the overall narrative to ensure a polished and professional final product.

Sound Design & Color Correction

I have experience in sound design, including syncing audio to picture, ambient sound creation, and setting emotional tone. I'm skilled in color correction and grading, with a focus on enhancing mood, creating visual consistency, and supporting tone through precise adjustments in contrast, exposure, and color balance.

Creative Portfolio

My creative portfolio, consisting of undergraduate projects where I worked as Director of Photography, gaffer, assistant camera, editor, and director. My work includes advertisements, narrative storytelling, and shorts, all of which are brought to life through a strong visual style and collaborative mindset.
